Get Your Tickets for the Eagle Classic: Fun for Families and Golf Fans Alike

The Eagle Classic is just around the corner, and we want this year to be a bigger success and more fun than ever. We hope you can join us!
A limited number of complimentary tickets are still available, so come out and enjoy the fun and excitement of this year’s Eagle Classic golf tournament August 17 – 19. You can pick up tickets at Eagle Construction’s seven area model homes (locations can be found at Golf.EagleofVA.com).
For the fifth year of the Eagle Classic, more than 144 professional golfers from throughout the United States and 36 countries will travel to Richmond Country Club to compete for the $100,000.00 purse and for a card to play in the LPGA.
The Eagle Classic, the only professional golf event in Richmond, is the 14th stop on this year’s LPGA Futures Tour. Held August 17 – 19 at Richmond Country Club, it will be 3 days of all the professional golf you’ve been waiting to see!
We’re proud that this year’s charity partner is FeedMore, the umbrella organization of the Central Virginia Food Bank, Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia, and the Community Kitchen. FeedMore provides comprehensive hunger relief to our most vulnerable neighbors across 31 counties and five cities in Central Virginia.
You’ll find events for the entire family during the exciting tournament on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A highlight is Military Appreciation Day, when wounded warriors come for golf lessons from the pros and all military personnel and their families are admitted free of charge.
The pro tournament starts at 7:15 Friday morning with the first round, and wraps up with final rounds on Sunday. So come on out and enjoy a terrific weekend of golf, featuring some of the best up-and-coming stars of the golfing world. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Richmond Country Club on Patterson Ave/Route 6, just west of 288.

Last 16 Brownstones to be Built in West Broad Village

The final Brownstones are being planned for West Broad Village in Henrico County. “These will be the last Brownstones built in this sought-after location,” according to Eagle Construction Vice President and COO Jeff Kornblau. “We’re glad Richmonders have been so enthusiastic about the live-work-play lifestyle they provide.”
The location of the Brownstones in West Broad Village is key to their popularity. We recently asked several Brownstone residents what they enjoyed about their new homes. Residents Jay and Leslie Atkinson moved from Wilmington, NC with three children, including their five-year-old son. She tells us, “All of our children love it. They can ride their bikes and get anywhere they want to go. Being able to walk to the pool is awesome. You can walk to anything you want to do.” They also appreciate the convenient location of West Broad Village itself — close to excellent schools and interstates.
With just sixteen homes left to build, this will be the last time a buyer can purchase a new Brownstone and get their home completely personalized to their individual tastes and preferences.
Buyers have full access to the Eagle Construction Design Center, also located in West Broad Village. The design center was designed to be user-friendly, inviting, and comforting. Leslie Atkinson explains, “We both liked the one-stop shopping of the design center. We were able to feel and touch everything. And I enjoyed having my husband there to do everything with me. It was a very enjoyable experience.”
